lyrics
Walnut Tree Way
I've got three dab-loons and four shoe laces
In my pocket,
They'll take you places, you've never been before
When you're resemblance caught my eye,
I went to the bar and had a few more,
Lucy in the skies
When I dropped you, I saw something I didn't want to see,
Fear in your eyes
Walnut tree way, here I come
Walnut tree way, here I come
Walnut tree way, here I come
Walnut tree way, here I come
People say the drugs are killing me,
But they're keeping me alive,
If this illusion doesn't end,
You'll never see me again
Walnut tree way, here I come
Walnut tree way, here I come
Walnut tree way, here I come
Walnut tree way, here I come
Never said goodbye
Never said goodbye
Never said goodbye
My lullaby
Never said goodbye
Never said goodbye
Never said goodbye
My lullaby

This is just too good to be true. as Mr. Rote aptly states, it does have a 90s vibe here and there, like Nirvana on mellower drugs, or a soft Mudhoney, or a new! improved! Soul Asylum.. but above all it truly resembles great 60s psych, or proto-prog, even. kinda like Morgen meets Fever Tree, by way of Country Joe and late Beatles, but weirder, like krautrock or early Alice Cooper or Floyd...or something! guess i'll have to fill up my bong right now..is there really no vinyl version?
