Black Lime are an explosive, 4 piece rock outfit from Hull that dominate with brilliant, beautiful blues-infected indie ballads. They are known for their bold, gritty sound, radiating a raw energy and a ’no frills' vibe. On the brink of a debut EP, the lads are looking to make 2017 their year, aiming to deliver more of their astute, thunderous melodies.
Black Lime have featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing Humberside, Fred Perry Subculture, and with radio play across the nation and overseas in just a year, they continue to go from strength to strength, having played the likes of Sheffield Tramlines & Humber Street Sesh.
"Gritty enough to be edgy, but catchy enough to be accessible and throw some (possibly intoxicated) shapes to.” - Sounds of an Eccentric
"It’s a fruity cocktail – the flavour of the Arctic Monkeys, infused with a dash of the Black Lips, and garnished with a slice of zesty indie rock all of their own making…” - Backseat Mafia
BLACK LIME are: Sam (Vocals), Luke (Guitar), Elliot (Bass) & Daniel (Drums).
