'Hull's New Breed Vol.1' was created by young people as part of The Big Music Project. Led by Casey Stead with help from Joe Martin and Martin Guymer, the team set out to capture the new young emerging punk and alternative scene in Hull by choosing 6 artists to come and lay down 2 exclusive tracks each at Warren Studios.

Produced by Ysabelle Wombwell the sessions led to this 12 track compilation which captures a small part of an ever growing scene. Casey then deigned the packaging and together they hosted a launch party featuring all the artists involved.

Only 50 CD's were produced exclusively for the launch.
